Heads up, the StarkNet Edu newsletter has migrated to Revue.
We are going to start our second ever newsletter with a bang. The dev advocacy team at StarkWare has put together Basecamp, a complete course on StarkNet that will be presented live so you can ask questions and interact with the team as you go along.
The course starts on October 20th and will last 6 weeks, consisting of weekly 2-hour sessions + homework. To participate in Basecamp, you must register by clicking on the button below.
Cairo 1.0 Coming Soon
On the heels of the deployment to mainnet of Cairo 0.10.0, the next major version of the language, Cairo 1.0 has been announced. The release date of this new version of Cairo is still TBD but we can already see that a new compiler is in the works along with a new intermediate representation layer called Sierra. Cairo will have substantial syntax improvements, strong typing, traits, loops, integer division, overflow protection, etc. It’s all you ever dream of, you just have to wait a little longer before it comes true.
